We provide the steps to type in a PDF on your Mac using PDF Expert.
Once you open PDF file or create a brand new PDF file by clicking the key shortcut ⌘N, verify that you’ve switched to either ‘Edit’ or ‘Annotate’ mode in the upper toolbar depending on your needs. If you need to edit the existing text (for example: change the surname in an agreement or amend the title of an article you are writing with your classmate) you use ‘Edit’ mode. And if you need to add a new piece of text to the PDF perhaps to collaborate with your colleagues, you have to leave some notes for them on the page. Then switch to ‘Annotate’ mode So far, so good?
Next click on the ‘Text’ button and start typing anywhere you tap on the page to add or edit text. You can edit style, font, and size of the text using text settings that you will see on the right side of the page when you click on the ‘Text’ button.
That’s it! You are ready to type, make notes, view, fill out documents, surveys or make changes in the existing text whether it is just few letters or digits in the invoice, contract, homework, etc. or add huge multi pages notes to an article or an agreement.
